L'art martial que nous pratiquons est le VSCK ou Visayan Style Corto Kadena Largo Mano Eskrima fondé par Maestro Sonny Umpad. Son style est principalement basé sur l'utilisation du sabre. Les maîtres contemporains ayant mis l'accent sur cet élément particulier du combat son assez rares, mais Sonny Umpad a sublimé le concept en cristallisant son art autour d'une simple instruction : Don't get hit !Maija Soderholm est l'une des Guro officiellement nommée par Sonny Umpad pour perpétrer la tradition de cet art et le garder son enseignement vivant.
The martial art we practice is the VSCK or Visayan Style Corto Kadena Largo Mano Eskrima, founded by Maestro Sonny Umpad. His style is mainly based on the use of the sword. Contemporary masters who have highlighted this particular element of combat are rare enough, but Sonny Umpad has sublimated the concept by crystallising his art around a simple instruction: Don't get hit !
Maija Soderholm is one of the Guro oficially named by Sonny Umpad to carry on the tradition of this art and keep his teaching alive.

Niveau intermédiaire / Intermediate level.Les prérequis sont : Connaissance des quatre premiers angles de coupe avec un sabre ; Capacité à effectuer le Pendulum en binôme / Prerequisit are : Knowing the four primary sword cut angles ; Ability to perform the pendulum in partner practice.
Ce séminaire n'est pas ouvert, ni destiné aux débutants, et le nombre de places est limité.
